I looked at this photo and wept.
She didn’t make it. Wonder why not?
What. Is. Wrong. With. People.
We have homed skinny ribby dogs but this?
Our abuse of animals never fails to amaze me.
Let alone our hypocrisy.
Eat dogs, cats, horses.
That’s bad.
But eat cows, sheep, pigs?
That’s good.
Still, how on earth can people treat dogs like this?

We ask a lot of nonhuman animals when we don’t let them be wild. It’s a complex and difficult ethical dilemma.

The fact is that some humans physically abuse fellow humans, some dish out emotional abuse, and much of it is only because they don’t want to learn how to live in peace with other points of view. As long as we are capable of hurting each other on purpose, animal abuse will also be part of the world we make. I’ve wept about all of this lately.

That’s all very true, SiS. But, others get hurt in the fall-out. And surely we should be sophisticated enough to stop abusing animals like this? Apparently not.

Don’t know John. Not dermed a suitable hunting dog, but she could hardly have been born like that so sounds like 2. And then 1.
The galguero thought shr wasn’t up to it. A bit like puppy Snowy being albino but he had a luckier outcome.

It’s sickening the indifference we manage to display to the suffering of animals as well as our own species. Whoever did this or allowed it to be done is evil.

Sadly all too common. Yesterday animal rescue got into a house to discover some poor little dog – almost this thin, covered and bleeding from mange and huddled on a small pile of dirty rags. The owners didn’t even have the decency to let the poor dog out of the house when they moved and left him behind – no food. no water. waiting for them to return. They are looking for the people. This pup was lucky neighbors called – it happens much too often here. WHY? At least give the dog a chance on the streets to find shelter or people who will take him in.
How do people like this sleep at night? Broken people. Scary they are out there walking around.
At times like this I desperately hope Kharma is real

OK fix that “poor do” to “poor dog” please….just so upset.
But the dog here is safe and will get a forever home…but all those in the shadows. How do people sleep at night?
